ECAD Application Support Engineer

Join ASML and support over 8,000 R&D engineers worldwide in maximizing the use of cutting-edge CAD, development, and simulation tools. As an Application Support Engineer in the IT Solution Delivery Hardware group, you’ll provide 1st and 2nd line support, focusing on electronics design within a multidisciplinary hardware engineering environment.

As an application Support Engineer you will be working in a team with 6 other Support Engineers. This team is part of the larger Hardware Engineering Agile Release Train (ART). You deliver support on IT services based on Windows and Linux to a user base consisting mainly of electrical engineers. Independently, you handle and resolve incoming calls or forward issues to the responsible teams in the ART using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira. Aside from this, you ensure the quality of our applications by performing limited testing on applications and infrastructure as part of change or escalation management.
 

Education and experience:

• Bachelor level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or Information Technology
• Basic understanding and practical experience with Linux / Windows
• MS Office applications
• End-User support
• Knowledge of engineering Applications, and in particular Electrical Engineering or Firmware design, is a plus
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in the English language
