About our client

They have Europe’s largest 8-inch cleanroom, employing 750 professionals dedicated to producing advanced products primarily for the automotive industry. Their Maintenance Support & Gas and Chemical Systems team, part of the ICN8 waferfab organization, is responsible for all gas and chemical installations, which supply essential materials to our production tools and maintain gas detection systems.

Your role

As a Maintenance Engineer specializing in Gas & Chemical Systems, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring their systems’ reliability, safety, and efficiency. This includes daily collaboration with subcontractors, handling system improvements, and providing technical support to maintenance teams. You will also drive continuous improvement projects and support system modifications to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Align with subcontractors on maintenance activities, prioritize tasks, plan actions, and follow up as needed;
• Analyze system data and implement plans to improve safety, quality, availability, and cost KPIs;
• Plan, manage, and execute projects aimed at enhancing system reliability and availability;
• Define, test, and accept modifications to gas and chemical systems;
• Maintain system procedures, documentation, and provide training and guidance to technicians;
• Assist maintenance teams with complex issues, offering advanced troubleshooting support.

What we expect

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering;
• Knowledge of gas and chemical delivery systems, PLC control systems;
• At least 3 years in a similar role and experience in project leadership;
• Preferred: Semiconductor industry experience and familiarity with safety studies, ATEX and BRZO regulations.
