SAP Abap/UI5 Developer

Introduction

Is growing rapidly, the Field Execution Team is using SAP ABAP and SAPUI5 in our core SAP systems to develop enhancements to the standard SAP processes to support ASML Customer Support specifics. Do you have the profile below, please reach out to us!

Role and Responsibility

• You work as Sr SAP ABAP + SAPUI5 Developer on multiple deliveries in parallel and support one or more Agile release train teams that are building the solutions in agile team set up.
• It is your responsibility to deliver the right quality.
• You work according to the best practices and architectural principles defined by the corresponding Competence Teams.
• You support the Architects of ASML in designing the best possible solutions.
• You work with the Competence Team members in sharing skills / knowledge and help to improve the best practices.
• You collaborate with developers from other partners and challenge / check the quality of the apps to deliver max value.
• Execute peer reviews of code from your project peers and always have an eye for qualitive coding.
• Assist and challenge the UX specialist in creating feasible designs according to the ASML UX patterns and using standard Fiori floorplans.
• You coach where needed internal ASML colleagues in your delivery team on SAP ABAP + SAPUI5 technology and help the Competence Teams in supporting the growth in competency.
• You dare to challenge, collaborate intensively and care for your work and colleagues.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields (for example in Information Technology).
• 7+ years of practical experience in SAP ABAP Delivery, preferably in an international environment.
• 3 years of practical experience in front-end development, SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, preferably in an international environment.
• At least SAP ABAP 7.50 or SAP ABAP on HANA Certified.
• Is SAP Fiori Application Developer certified.
• ABAP Object Oriented programming as default style is a must.
• Interfacing experience is must (idoc/ALE/RFC/webservices/ODATA).
• Frontend development skills is a must (SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Fiori). Experience with ABAP on HANA is a benefit.
• Experience with the Restful ABAP programming model / Cloud Application. Programming model is a benefit.
