Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work cross-team to investigate and resolve security-related work packages. Your expertise in security, cloud technologies, and compliance will be essential in mentoring teams, designing secure solutions, and ensuring robust implementations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Defining, communicating, and executing security roadmap items aligned with project requirements.

• Coaching and mentoring teams, architects, and engineers on security best practices in cloud environments.

• Creating and reviewing designs, collaborating closely with teams on secure implementations.

• Ensuring security and compliance by contributing to secure-by-design principles.

• Taking end-to-end ownership of security work packages, from requirements to implementation.

Education and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software development and IT security, with expertise in security design patterns and secure development lifecycle. Additional qualifications include:

• Experience in designing and implementing secure capabilities in an enterprise or hybrid cloud environment (e.g., IAM).

• Experience with embedded software development in C/C++/Python and RHEL is a plus.

• Experience with designing, implementing, and migrating secure developer services (Workplace, Build, CI/CD, SCM systems, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with Bazel, GitHub Enterprise Server, GitHub Actions, and GCP is highly desirable.
