About the client

Individuals with intellectual disabilities or dementia often struggle to effectively communicate their emotions, pain, or discomfort, leading to unnecessary stress. Consequently, their behavior may be misunderstood, preventing care professionals from delivering the attention and meaningful care that these individuals need.

Our client is developing an innovative solution, an emotion recognition platform that leverages sensors, behavioral models, and machine learning. These sensors capture physiological data such as heart rate, skin conductance, and activity levels. This data is then transformed into actionable insights within the database through behavioral models. By providing this information, caregivers are better equipped to understand their clients, ultimately improving their quality of life.
 

Job Description

• Actively contribute to the Agile development and refinement of the existing software platform;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software developers, designers, and customer teams to build (web) applications and APIs for advanced analytics dashboards and various other projects;
• Work closely with the UX/UI team to assess and optimize the app’s user experience in consultation with customers;
• Write end-to-end tests for the applications and master CI/CD processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience as a front-end developer.
• Programming experience in Java, TypeScript, and JavaScript is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git is a pre.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-disciplinary projects.
• Optional experience with Flutter, Vue.js, SQL, Docker, and AWS.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
